WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers - Version 1.7 Update

Dear WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Steam Players,

Since the game's launch, we have always cherished every piece of feedback — each suggestion is the driving force for the game's progress. Version 1.7 is now officially live. We are continuously optimizing game performance, fixing known issues, and unlocking the remaining exclusive expanded content for the Deluxe Edition. All users will receive Headgear Items as a reward. Thank you for your companionship and trust along the way.

Kind Reminders Before Updating the Game

The size of this update patch is approximately 1.6 GB. Please reserve sufficient storage space in advance.

Open the Steam client, navigate to the WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers game page, and ensure the game has completed the automatic update.

After launching the game, the new content will be directly delivered to your in-game inventory/character equipment interface. Players will need to restart Steam and launch the game again to claim the corresponding rewards from the Donation Box in the Reverent Temple. Please note that when the character's backpack is full, equipment will be automatically stored in the inventory, and you need to go to the inventory to retrieve it.

Deluxe Expansion 2 Content Now Available (Exclusive to Deluxe Edition / Deluxe Upgrade Pack)

All current and future Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Upgrade pack owners will receive the Deluxe Expansion 2 content, which includes 3 additional costumes and 2 additional weapons. With this release, all players who purchased the Deluxe Edition or Deluxe Upgrade Pack can now obtain the corresponding items in the game. The Deluxe Edition content totals 9 sets of armor and 8 weapons.

Players who purchased the Deluxe Edition / Deluxe Upgrade Pack will need to restart Steam and launch the game again to claim the corresponding rewards from the Donation Box in the Reverent Temple.

How to Check Your Game Version

1. Open the Steam client or website → Click your username in the top-right corner → Go to the Account Details page.
2. If you purchased a Steam code from a retailer, click [View licenses and product key activations] → Search (CTRL+F) for “Wuchang” to find your purchased version.

3. If the 【Deluxe Edition】 is not displayed, you currently have the Standard Edition.

Note: If you upgraded to the Deluxe Edition through the Deluxe Upgrade Pack, your purchase/activation history will show【Deluxe Upgrade Pack】

If you fail to claim the additional content of this update, it may be due to a previous version rollback or installation of third-party Mods. You can refer to the corresponding solutions below based on your situation:

1. If you have previously performed a version rollback: First, delete all files in the folder SteamsteamappscommonWuchang Fallen FeathersProject_PlagueContentPaks. Then open the Steam client, find WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, and use the "Properties - Installed Files - Verify the integrity of game files" function to repair the files. After the verification is complete, restart the game to attempt claiming the additional content.

2. If you have previously installed third-party Mods: The incompatibility between the Mod version and the current update patch may block the process of claiming the additional content. We recommend uninstalling all installed Mods first. Then open the Steam client, find WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, and use the "Properties - Installed Files - Verify the integrity of game files" function to repair the files. After the verification is complete, restart the game to attempt claiming the additional content.
