Attention, Pilots! The following patch will be deployed for War Robots: Frontiers following a short period of maintenance on October 14, 2025.

New Content

Season 3: Battle for Tortuga

The fragile peace on Tortuga shatters. As Mayflower, Freecon, and FortEvo divide their zones, an attack on Freecon’s Noachium barge ignites chaos. Each dominion has its own secret agenda, and the Battle for Tortuga begins. Pilots must navigate shifting alliances and fight for survival as the station erupts into war.

Heavy rocket launcher firing powerful volleys of rockets along an arched trajectory. Available in Daily Deals and Direct Offers.

New Map: Solidus Node: Umbra

A new map for Unranked has been added. Explore the dark, industrial depths of the Umbra sector. Expect tighter corners, layered cover, and intense close-quarters combat!

Season 3 Events

The Swordstar Hunt

Join the cosmic adventure and earn exciting rewards! To participate in The Swordstar Hunt, simply log in for 7 days within the 14-day event period and play 3 battles each day. Rewards include Stickers, Decals, and Wraps!

Event Duration:

  • Start: October 14, 09:00 UTC
  • End: October 28, 09:00 UTC

How to Participate:

  • Complete your Training Battles to qualify.
  • Play 3 battles and claim rewards as you go.
  • You must receive the previous reward to be eligible for the next one (you can’t skip rewards).

Rewards:

  • Reward 1: Swordstar The 2nd (Sticker), 100 Intel
  • Reward 2: Swordstar's Blade (Sticker), 20 Intel
  • Reward 3: 16,000 Salvage, 20 Intel
  • Reward 4: Swordstar Warpaint (Paint Job), 25 Intel
  • Reward 5: Lightning Trail (Sticker), 30 Intel
  • Reward 6: 90 Intel
  • Reward 7: Celestial (Wrap), 50 Intel

New Player Intel Catch-up Event (October 14 — October 28)

The Special Intel Catch-up Event is live from October 14 to October 28, packed with rewards to help new recruits stock up quickly.

Who’s eligible?

  • New Pilots logging in for the first time ever during the event.

Mission objectives:

  • Reach Level 15 to earn a total of 155 Intel and 15,500 Salvage

Level-Up Rewards:

  • Level 2: 30 Intel, 3000 Salvage
  • Level 4: 15 Intel, 1500 Salvage
  • Level 6: 15 Intel, 1500 Salvage
  • Level 8: 15 Intel, 1500 Salvage
  • Level 10: 15 Intel, 1500 Salvage
  • Level 12: 15 Intel, 1500 Salvage
  • Level 15: 50 Intel, 5000 Salvage

Intel Discount (October 14 — October 21) 

Intel is a crucial resource used to upgrade your battle builds. You can never have enough, so from October 14 until October 21 (10:00 CEST/01:00 PT), we’re making it easier to maximize your Builds’ potential with upgrade discounts!

This week, the Tortuga engineers invite Pilots to take a closer look at the following Builds:

  • War Robot Modules: Cyclops, Bulgasari, Siren, Grim (Titan)
  • Weapons: Gemini, Shredder, Trident, Railgun, Katzbalger, Jigsaw
  • Gear: Blink, Homing Missile, Emergency Shield, Infinite Ammo, Energy Wall, Umbrella

Player Progression

The player account progression has been expanded. The maximum player level is now increased to 170.

  • Mesa War Robot Modules can now be crafted at level 140.
  • Ceres War Robot Modules can now be crafted at level 155.
  • Nucleon Weapon can now be crafted at level 162.
  • Apollo Weapon can now be crafted at level 170.

Customization & Balance Updates

War Robots

Lancelot — Battle Order (Core Gear)

  • Duration increased: 8s → 13s
  • Self-repair conversion from prevented ally damage reduced: 80% → 60%

Ceres — Rejuvenator (Core Gear)

  • Active duration increased: 10s → 12s
  • Regeneration reduced: 1.5% → 1.1%
  • Cooldown increased: 38s → 45s

Weapons

Magneto

Explosion damage falloff reworked. Previously dealt 100% within 10m. Now deals 100% up to 3m, decreasing gradually to 20% at 7.5m.

Trident

  • Projectile speed increased by 20%.

Bayonett

  • Reload time reduced: 2.1s → 1.8s

Gear

Fuel Burn

  • Enemy fuel burned increased: 80% → 100%
  • Cooldown reduced: 25s → 20s

Iron Veil

  • Charge amount needed increased: 220 → 300

Ammo Fabricator

  • Reduction in reload time for allies increased: 50% → 60%

Titans

Matriarch — Nanite Field

  • Duration increased: 15s → 17s
  • Regeneration reduced: 3.3% → 2.5%
  • Cooldown increased: 30s → 34s

Alpha — Magnetic Sensor

  • Duration increased: 11s → 17s

Pilot Talents

  • Ricochet: Ricochet chance reduced: 15% → 10%
  • Trickster’s Triumph: Shield boost increased: 15% → 20%
  • Press the Attack: Fire rate boost increased: 15% → 20%

Gameplay & Technical Adjustments

  • Onboarding updated: Elimination replaced with Elimination+, added a new tutorial video.

Leagues

League placements will be reset, and ranks will be adjusted for Season 3:

  • Players ranked in Silver will start in Bronze.
  • Players ranked in Gold will start in Silver.
  • Players ranked in Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, or Noachium will start in Gold.

League Points will be set according to your new League placement:

  • Bronze = 0 League Points
  • Silver = 300 League Points
  • Gold = 600 League Points

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with Kumo’s Dash Thrusters missing cooldown.
  • Fixed Siege Tower Talent incorrectly granting +15 Cycle Gear.
  • Fixed invalid repair value distribution across robots.
  • Fixed typo in Kumo’s WarpArmor description.
  • Fixed settings screen reappearing after login or match exit.
  • Fixed early unlock of some Gear during the tutorial.
  • Fixed missing Last Robot Standing+ on matchmaking cards.
  • Resolved blurring issues on the Norricum purchase screen.
  • Fixed Frontliner Talent triggering indefinitely when using all three abilities.
  • Fixed blurry torso modules in Daily Deals preview.
  • Fixed squad formation issue for MGL Launcher players.
  • Fixed NavMesh rapture on the Catalyst map where bots could get stuck.
  • Returned missing cooldown data to Titan ability descriptions.
