Steam Next Fest Demo Update!

In preparation for Steam Next Fest on Monday, we’ve expanded the demo of Star Ores Inc.

🚀 Demo Update – What’s New?

The new demo of Star Ores Inc. is here – featuring fresh content, improvements, and a touch of galactic automation! Here’s what’s waiting for you:

🔧 Upgrades

Buildings and Erfis now collect Tech Points (TP), which you can invest to unlock targeted upgrades. This lets you customize and optimize your station even further.

🔗 Transportation System

The new transportation system allows you to connect buildings and automatically transfer minerals from one to another.

🏪 Sales Storage

The sales room now includes a central storage area where you can stockpile products until you’re ready to sell them. Erfis no longer toss minerals directly into the sales room, they now store them properly.

🤖 Erfi Roles

Erfis can now be assigned specific tasks:

• Handle sales
• Transport minerals to storage
• Destroy small rocks

• Refill machines like the Smelt-O-Tron with minerals

This lets you manage your crew even more efficiently!

🏆 Achievements

Here’s a small preview of the achievements planned for the full version: we’ve added a few to the demo for you to discover and enjoy.

🛠️ Various Improvements

Alongside the new features, we’ve polished the UI, controls, and Erfi AI. Everything feels smoother than ever

Of course, we’ve also squashed a whole bunch of bugs to make the demo more stable and enjoyable.
