Hello everyone,
Lucas here with a quick update for you!
Since we launched the 72h Early Unlock version of RENNSPORT this Monday, we’ve received an incredible amount of valuable feedback from everyone who already has access, and we’re truly grateful for that!
We are tracking the feedback that is coming and are evaluating everything in detail. A number of fixes have been planned for the coming weeks as well. We have already put a lot of work into our first post launch update, and I’m glad to be able to share some details on that right now!
As the update is still work in progress, it’s hard to say exactly how big it will be, but to give you some insight already:
The current patch notes list around 90 fixes and improvements, some smaller, some bigger, with a few more expected to come before we lock it in. (And yes, the reported Xbox Steering Wheel compatibility issues are among those fixes. More on this further down below)
WHEN WILL THIS PATCH COME?
As we have multiple third parties involved in this process, to ensure best possible results, our current timeline looks as follows:
Nov 13 (Thu): The patch will be sent to additional third party QA partners for testing. This is a step that helps prevent certification delays later and ultimately saves us valuable time.
Thu – Mon: Heavy QA testing to ensure any potential issues are addressed before they have a chance to cause a delay in the platform approval process.
Nov 17 (Mon): With the final confirmation from all involved parties, the patch will be sent to both console partners for approval.
Nov 18 (Tue): Expected patch release. Fast-track certification usually takes around 24 hours, and while that’s not guaranteed, we’re optimistic about receiving approval within that window, after which the patch will go live on all platforms immediately.
Some of the most notable fixes that are already on our list for the patch:
Fixed Xbox Steering Wheel compatibility issues
This update resolves the reported connection and input problems with Fanatec, Logitech, and Thrustmaster wheels on Xbox.
Players will be able to use all devices from these manufacturers once the patch is live.
A big thank you to these hardware partners for their fast responses and support over the past days.
Handheld controller setup fixed
On the topic of input devices, we also received reports that the setup process for handheld console controllers sometimes did not work correctly – the cause we found for this has now also been resolved.
Telemetry-related crash resolved
This fix targets a particular crash that could happen to PC players, and we are glad to say that it will not be a problem any longer once the patch goes live!
Full patch notes will be available closer to when the update is released.
And let me quickly repeat myself here in saying that we really appreciate all the feedback that came in over the past few days. Community-Feedback has always been one of the most important cornerstones in our development process, and even after the official release, this will continue to be the case.
If you find any bugs or general issues with the game, please reach out to us – the best way is always via our Servicedesk, as tickets created in here will make sure nothing gets lost:

Thank you for your continued support!
I will keep you updated as soon as there’s any news that I can share about the patch.
See you on the track!
