PATCH PREVIEW - Update 1.1.4

Date: 2025-11-18 11:28:36

Hello everyone,

Lucas here - I’m checking in to give you an update on the upcoming first patch of RENNSPORT!

In the previous post I wrote down a timeline that we were aiming for with this patch, so let’s start with that:

We had a slight delay in the final stages of testing, so instead of the build going out to our console partners yesterday, it is now planned to go out today.

What does this mean?

Once the patch has gone out to first parties, we expect approval to come within 24h.

As soon as we have said approval, an updated game version will immediately be sent out to all platforms for players to download.

While we have over 90 fixes in the upcoming patch, some of them were already being worked on before launch last week, and some have been expedited to solve new issues, here are some important ones:

  • Fixed an issue with input not always working with wheelbases connected to the Xbox
  • Fixed an issue with input not always working with wheelbases connected to the PS5
  • Fixed a crash that could happen with telemetry enabled
  • Fixed an issue where car audio sometimes cut out in multiplayer sessions
  • Fixed blue ghosting coming off the rear Porsche 992 Cup
  • Fixed an issue where the pit crew would appear floating above the ground

Stay tuned for the full patch notes when the update goes live.

What if I have an issue that is not covered with this patch?

I think this is the perfect time to quickly mention our short-term plans after this patch has been released:

Since the first patch got locked in Thursday/Friday last week, our devs have already started work on the second patch.

I will share a timeline for this as soon as I have it, though I’d say you can expect a release sometime mid / end of next week.

We are dedicated to making improvements in all areas of the game, some big and some quality of life, but our main focus now is to look at what comes in from the community first.

And as always, thank you for all your feedback, it really helps us!

I’ll go into more detail on the second patch once the first has been released - until then I’m looking forward to seeing you guys on the grid!
