MIMESIS Update Notice (12/18)

Hey survivor!

Today’s MIMESIS update has arrived. This update brings a whole new equipment upgrade system, upgradable tram features, and various QoL improvements.

Check out the details below.

Make sure to update through the Steam Client.

If the update doesn’t start automatically, please verify the integrity of your game files via the properties menu.

1.New Content & Features

■ Equipment Upgrade

  • Located inside the Workshop in Service Station. Look for the upgrade shelf!Image
  • How to Use: Take out the item in front of the Upgrade shelf and pay up.
  • Upgradables:[list]
  • Multi Compass: Switch between Scrap and Exit mode with left-click (or Action key). Scrap Mode points toward a valuable scrap, and Exit Mode guides you to the nearest exit.Image
  • Mega Flashlight: Illuminte a much wider area than a regular flashlight.Image
  • Paint Gun: Shoots long-lasting paint rounds and can be recharged for reuse.Image

■ Tram Upgrade

  • Choose with the screen next to the repair lever, at the Service Station.Image
  • Make sure to choose the upgrade you want out of two random options. Repair the tram and that’s it!
  • Available Upgrades (Random): [list]
  • Scrap Detector: Scans the area to display total value of remaining scrap.Image
  • Tram Booster: Refreshes the selectable destinations.Image
  • Tram Horn: Activates the horn that can be heard from anywhere by anyone.Image
  • Disco Ball: Party time!Image
  • Scrap Hooks: Keeps hooked items safe even if no one survives.Image

■ New Emotes

  • Four new emotes (slots 5–8) have been added! More ways to interact with friends and Mimesis.Image

2.System and QoL Improvements

■ Smarter Mimesis

  • Mimesis will show more human-like movements!
  • Not to mention, they got some new tricks up their sleeves as well.

■ Visual Updates

  • The Factory has been revamped!
  • Contamination and HP reduction effects are more noticeable.
  • Charging batteries on gears and items give better visual feedback.
  • Being under rain and sprinklers are now much more obvious.

MIMESIS keeps working hard to bring survivors like you even deeper, more exciting gameplay.
