Developer's Note - September Update Preview

Hello Stalkers!

This is SJGO, Head of Development for Dungeon Stalkers.

Today, we'd like to share the details of our first Pre-Season update, scheduled for next week.

We have prepared a variety of new content and in-game improvements, so please refer to the details below.

■ New Dungeons & Content

• New Dungeon: Catacombs[list]
• The new map, 'Catacombs,' will be introduced in this update!
  In this newly added dungeon area, theme-appropriate monsters will constantly be on the lookout for Stalkers. 

• New Raid Boss: Forgotten King[list]
• 'The Forgotten King' has returned!
  After this update, in a hidden tomb within the Catacombs, you will once again face 'The Forgotten King'.
  Defeating the Forgotten King will give you a high chance of obtaining powerful items.
  

Raid Boss Battle Rewards Enhanced

• The rewards obtainable from defeating raid bosses and within the boss dungeons will be enhanced!
  We are preparing better rewards to make conquering boss dungeons more worthwhile, but don't forget that you'll be competing not only with the boss monster but also with all the other Stalkers aiming for the treasure. 

New Legendary Equipment & Blueprints Added

• New Legendary equipment will be added to bring more strategic diversity.
  Legendary equipment modifies the unique skills of Stalkers, allowing for more diverse strategic gameplay different from the existing meta, depending on your loadout. 

• Leaderboard Revamp: Competitive (Solo) Leaderboard and Other Common Rankings Added[list]
• A new leaderboard for Competitive (Solo) will be added.
  The 'Escape Artist' (number of dungeon escapes) and 'The Gladiator' (number of player kills) rankings will be added, similar to the Competitive (Trio) mode, and a new boss kill ranking will be added for each mode.
  In addition to the existing 'The Richest' (gold ranking) leaderboard, two new rankings will be added separately. 

• New Witch's Curses Added[list]
• Several new Witch's Curses that can change the tide of the game will be added.Please look forward to the patch notes after the update for detailed information on what synergies they create with existing curses and what new variables they bring to the game.

• Costumes Purchasable with Adventure Coins Added[list]
• In-game costumes that can be purchased with Adventure Coins will be added.This will allow you to purchase some costumes using Adventure Coins acquired from the dungeon. 

New Rare Themed Costumes Added

• Nine new Rare Maid and Butler-themed costumes will be added.Themed costumes will continue to be released in various series in the future.

■ Game System Improvements

• Reconnect System Added[list]
• We will be introducing a system that allows you to re-enter a dungeon if you experience an unexpected game crash.

• Safe Pouch Functionality Enhanced[list]
• The contents of the Safe Pouch will be synchronized with the server in real-time to ensure that your items are kept up-to-date even in the event of an abnormal client shutdown or server crash. 

■ Quality of Life Improvements

• Kill Cam Improved[list]
• After dying in a dungeon, players will now have the option to choose whether or not to view the kill cam.

• Monster Color Adjustments[list]
• The colors of some monsters will be changed to improve their visibility within the dungeon.

• Gamepad Support Added[list]
• We will be adding gamepad (controller) support for in-game dungeon play.
