Welcome back everyone, today we have another Decktamer update for you, fresh out of the oven!
Reworked UI
We have reworked the encounter choice menu in order to make it more intuitive and to give it a little boost in terms of visuals. Some players didn't even notice that you could select which encounter to choose with the little arrows, so we also added an explanation for that ingame.

Polish & Visual Enhancements
We've also added a bunch of enhancements to make the game feel better across the board:
- Screen Shake
- VFX: A lot of visual effects have been added to various attacks and talents.
- Talent Activated Animation: There is now visual feedback for when a creature’s talent is activated.
- Various Minor Visual Improvements (item usage arrow, buttons growing on mouseover, selection outlines, custom mouse cursor, new whistle and backpack visuals…)
- New Game Over screen

Items outside of battle
Have you ever wanted to use syringes or heal your creatures
before a battle? Well, now you can!
We've finally added the ability to use items outside of battle! All you have to do is to open your inventory in the encounter choice menu, right before starting a battle :)

New Creature
We've added a new Danger Level 3 creature: the Tongue Biter! Although we didn't focus on new creatures in this update, we still wanted to include one new card for you to play with :)

Balance Changes
We felt some creatures were overtuned compared to others, especially in the case of starters and their evolutions. We made some changes to bring them more in line with each other, and hopefully balance out their popularity. We remain attentive to the community’s feedback and opinions!
Swamp Beast (NERF)
- “Blood Surge” now gains 1 power regardless of amount healed.
- “Undying” now resurrects with half max HP (rounded up).
Boulder Crab (NERF)
- Rocky Shell can only get triggered once per battle.
Monomono (BUFF)
- “Defecate” is now limited use 2 instead of 1.
Lily Goose (BUFF)
- “Herbfinder” is now limited use 2 instead of 1.
Blood Grub (NERF)
- Maximum Health decreased from 5 to 4.
Blood Angel (NERF)
- Maximum Health decreased from 6 to 5.
- Base Speed decreased from 12 to 10.
Bull Weevil (NERF)
- Base Speed decreased from 4 to 3.
Quetzi (NERF)
- “Poisoned Scales” is now limited use 1 instead of 2.
Boss (BUFF)
- Abominations now inflict weakness when attacking.
Scale Item (NERF)
- Now grants 1 sturdy instead of 2.
Tyranorat (BUFF)
- “Chomp” is now limited use 5 instead of 3.
- “Rat King” now gives 5 atk+ instead of 3.
False Yeti (NERF)
- “Group Roar” is now limited use 3.
- Maximum Health Decreased from 7 to 6.
- Base Speed decreased from 7 to 6.
Bell Rat (REWORK)
- Base Speed increased from 3 to 4.
Colossal Clawed Spider (NERF)
- Maximum Health decreased from 7 to 6.
Quetzation (NERF)
- Maximum Health decreased from 9 to 7.
Shell Cat (BUFF)
- “Guard” (+2 armor) replaced with “Hardening” (+3 armor).
- “Inkstain” now inflicts Sluggish for 3 turns instead of 1.
Shell Panther (BUFF)
- “Trap Ink” now inflicts Sluggish for 3 turns instead of 1.
Conclusion
