The Outfit Update is coming soon!

Date: 2026-05-30 15:20:36

ImageIn the update scheduled for around 5:00 PM (JST) on June 1, Satone will finally be able to choose clothes from her closet. We also plan to add a day-of-the-week display setting to the calendar and introduce new music tracks.

Changing clothes is not a "dress-up" feature. Satone changes clothes based on her mood for the day, so players cannot choose her outfit. We hope you enjoy working every day and looking forward to seeing what Satone will wear.

However, at this time, we have no plans to offer Satone's clothes as DLC. Her wardrobe won't suddenly expand with lots of outfits, but just like the spring and summer clothes, we plan to add winter clothes through regular updates.

If we offer outfits via DLC, there would be too many clothes, making an outfit selection feature necessary. We think it would be sad if you bought clothes but couldn't see them.

But if we do that, wouldn't it be weird to provide an outfit selection feature in the first place, since Satone chooses what to wear of her own free will?

Fundamentally, it doesn't make sense within the game's setting for the player to buy Satone clothes via DLC.

Regarding point 3, you might think, "But we can already change her headphones and mug, right?" However, during development, the director told me this:

"For example, for a change of pace, Satone might look at an online shopping site with the player, ask for their recommendation, and then buy the mug."

"For things like headphones or glasses, once you become close, she might change them if you request it, even if she thinks it's a bit of a hassle."

"But I don't think that works for clothes."

The exact details are left to your imagination, so these statements aren't official lore. However, as a team, we came to the conclusion that handling clothes this way is just too difficult.

There is a possibility that outfit DLCs might appear in the future, but if they do, it will only be when we have reached some sort of new conclusion.

If we were making this game at a large company, paid outfit DLCs might have been scheduled to release alongside this update. We believe that being able to obsess over details like this is exactly what makes indie games special.
