The Steam Awards are coming up and we'd be honoured to have your nomination for the "Best Game You Suck At" category.

Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is a city in Anno: the mix of not just building a city but also juggling the economy and logistics across many islands and two regions has its own magic - but is also a lot to manage.

While we don't like to see you struggle (okay, maybe sometimes we do), for us, complexity is one of the core pillars of the Anno series, as we feel that overcoming challenges and figuring out optimal production layouts while streamlining your trade route setup is a very rewarding experience. Not to mention fires and riots...

Reading your posts on Steam, Reddit, Discord and other places over the last years has confirmed this for us, your stories about finding new tricks and strategies - and helping out other players who got stuck.

The Steam Awards are a way to celebrate your favourite gaming experiences of 2025. Is Anno 117: Pax Romana now indeed the "Best Game You Suck At" or is it maybe your "Sit Back and Relax" game? Nominate us in the category you consider us worthy of.
