How to download and install mods
To install mods, you need a plugin that loads game plugins and mods that you can download from Nexus Mods. To install the mods, follow a few simple steps:
- Download BepInEX (download the version compatible with your operating system – x86 for 32-bit systems, x64 for 64-bit systems)
- Extract the BepInEx folder to the directory where the game is installed (game default path for Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Junkyard Truck)
- Start the game so that BepInEx can create the necessary files and folder for the mod – after a while, you can exit the game
- Now you can upload mods (.dll files) to the BepInEx\Plugins folder
